Hello tankers,
I figured a "Welcoming to tanking" video was well due, so here you are. This is for the new people to the hobby, for those who are totally new. This shows what to do when you get a tank, how to bind, what things do, etc.

Hello everyone,
Here is a quick (somewhat) video of how to remove the toolboxes on the KV-1 tank. Since our toolboxes are metal, we will start by cutting the glue from the pins on the bottom side of the top hull as shown in the video. Make sure you separate it well, you can always fill it in later.
Next, we will use either a heat gun or a blow dryer (ask your gf or wife first or you might be down a tank) to heat tool box pins up. Make sure to keep the hot air moving and to not concentrate on one spot or you could warp your tank. Use your hand like I did in this video to gauge how hot it is. After you warm it up you should be able push the toolbox out of the hull like I did.
Be careful not to burn yourself like I did in this video. I got burnt twice by the same item lol.

To mark the 100th anniversary of Armistice, the British Army has released a video titled, 'Today When The Guns Fall Silent'.

The short film tells the story of a British soldier whose family members have served in conflicts over the last 100 years. The different conflicts and eras are represented by the seamless change in uniform worn by the soldier. The changes in uniform on the soldier also demonstrates the evolution of the British Army over the last 100 years. Throughout the video a poem is recited which delivers the narrative for this emotive film.

The video was filmed at Brookwood Military Cemetery, near Pirbright. Brookwood is owned and run by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC); it was established as the First World War ended, and then extended for the burial of Second World War service personnel. Those buried there represent all branches of service, and all six of the CWGC’s member governments: Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom.

Coronation Street Star, Antony Cotton, is passionate about mental fitness. He as been working with the Army and SSAFA for some years to encourage people to get help if they are struggling with mental health.

Recently, he came to visit the Army Mental Resilience Training (MRT) in Catterick, and spent some time interviewing CSgt Reggie Lindsay (MRT Mastercoach) and Bdr Elliott (MRT Coach) about the training they are delivering to new recruits in Catterick and which is being rolled out to the whole Army.

Explaining why he takes such an interest in this, Antony said “I have many close friends from the Forces Community and have seen first hand the challenges they face.”
